UNIOSUN Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Sets 160 Cut-Off Mark

Uniosun postutme form is out

Osun State University has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise, setting a minimum UTME score of 160 for candidates seeking admission into the institution.

According to a notice published on the school’s website, candidates who choose UNIOSUN as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, plus those who recently change their institution to UNIOSUN, are eligible to apply provided they scored at least 160 marks in the examination.

However, the university stated that applicants seeking admission into highly competitive programmes including Law, Nursing, Medicine, and Islamic Law must have scored a minimum of 200 in the UTME. Candidates who selected any of these courses but scored below 200 have been advised to change to other relevant programmes.

UNIOSUN also emphasized that candidates who will be younger than 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are not eligible to participate in the admission exercise, in line with the national admission policy.

The university advised interested candidates to complete their registration online through the admissions portal. Applicants can access the screening platform via admissions.uniosun.edu.ng or visit uniosun.edu.ng for detailed admission guidelines.

For Direct Entry candidates, the university directed applicants to complete the online application process and ensure their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar of the institution no later than September 4, 2026.

The university further noted that all Direct Entry candidates, including those from its IJMB and JUPEB programmes, must obtain a Direct Entry form from Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and participate in the screening exercise.

The institution reiterated that admission will only be offered to candidates who possess at least five relevant credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings. However, candidates applying for Medicine, Nursing, Law, and Islamic Law must obtain the required credits in a single sitting.

UNIOSUN warned applicants against providing false information during registration, stating that any candidate found guilty of falsification would face prosecution and immediate withdrawal of admission if discovered after admission has been granted.

The university also reminded candidates that admission for the 2026/2027 academic session will be processed through JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), making the upload of O’Level results on the CAPS portal a mandatory requirement for admission consideration.

In addition, all successful candidates will undergo compulsory medical examinations, including drug screening, before final enrollment.

The university fixed the screening registration fee at ₦5,000, comprising ₦3,000 as portal access fee and ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

UNIOSUN announced that the application portal will remain open until 12 noon on September 17, 2026, after which no further applications will be accepted.

Prospective candidates have been advised to complete their registration through the university’s admissions portal and carefully follow all application guidelines before submission.

Candidates are advised to visit the official University’s admission page for further enquiries.
