Overview of UNIBEN Post-UTME 2026/2027
The University of Benin, one of Nigeria’s most prestigious federal universities located in Benin City, Edo State, conducts an annual Post-UTME Screening Exercise to shortlist candidates for admission into its undergraduate programmes.
For the 2026/2027 academic session, the screening exercise will take place between Monday, 27th July 2026 and Saturday, 1st August 2026. The exercise will be conducted in designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the University, using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
UNIBEN’s Post-UTME is officially called the Admission Screening Exercise and covers both UTME candidates (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry candidates (Post Direct Entry / PUDE). The application is done entirely online via the UNIBEN portal.
